Try exploring the nearby cafes for breakfast, as they offer better value and variety than the hotel's options.

New renovated
Poor quality of the renovation and the decoration of the room is not nice, there are better hotels in downtown vientiane for lower price

The hotel is very nice, modern and functional. Rooms big, comfortable beds and extremely helpful staff.
The only thing I missed for breakfast were some croissants (you get them really good in different french bakeries intown), and a good coffee (they have only Nescafe).

Room had an odd lack of insulation leading to a stuffy environment without constant AC. Shower mold, and I encountered strong smoke odors in the first few rooms I checked into.

Welcome and availability of the staff (Vietnames managemennt)
Extremely difficult to find. People working even at 300 meters from this hotel do not know this hotel. Sihome Road is correct but all the area is known as Sihome, thus most people asked if I was in Sihome Road said yes, although I was only in the area! The name at the door of the hotel is only written in English so most Lao people cannot read it. I rang several time the telephone number provided but nobody ever answered.

The stay certainly was great value. The rooms were decent size and nicely furnished, with a very big bed. Excellent service, though a few employees were absolutely rude. The location was convenient - ease of access to Ban Anou Night Market.
Wi-Fi signal was not good, made me a little nervous.

Family with children acceptable stay
Had a great family room, double and two singles, really comfy for us. Pool helped cool the kids down, and mango trees around were nice touch.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it's fine.

Great value for money units with a nice balcony, nice breakfast, as for instance, and the staff were well-mannered!

The rooms are clean and big. Small nice garden and pool. The owner and the employees are verz friendly. Good price/quality
The breakfast room is a bit to small. Breakfast outside would have been a good option, but unfortunately was not possible.

The pros: It was clean and spacious, pool is nice but a bit small, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was fine with your typical toothbrush, soap, shaving kit accessories, location is convenient, and the breakfast is good.
The cons: mosquitoes infested the room. If you stood in the middle of the room, you could literally see hundreds of mosquitoes flying around. I bought a mosquito racquet to try to reduce the population in my room and every swipe took down 2 or 3. I asked the staff if there was anything I could do, and they gave me a aerosol can of bug spray and told me to spray the room. When I returned I covered myself in repellant and tried to sleep through the night. When I woke, the floor was literally covered with hundreds of dead mosquitoes. Anyways, the pest problems aside, there are much better values nearby. The Chindamay guesthouse nearby has clean doubles at 20% of the price. They don't have a pool but far far superior value. Also, I didn't experience the same amazing service the other reviewers have glowed about. When I checked out, the desk guy was very reluctant to accept a credit card payment, complaining that cash was better, that my bank would tack on an additional 3% charge, that he thought something was wrong with my card.
